Our metal finishes
We can and do produce a wide range of metal finishes. We are known for our aged brass and it is our unique aging or antiquing that allows us to stand out from the competition. All of our finishes have some degree of aging, we can do very gently aged finishes (see our image gallery below) and can also create a high shine or reflective finish if required. However, the majority of our work and passion, is for aged effects.

If you would like to get in touch some things to consider might be…
-the base tone of metal that you like, eg. Copper, yellow brass, golden brass, brass bronze, bronze, gunmetal or iron
-next would be the degree of aging required, gently aged, standard, heavy and blistered or broken.
When ordering samples please consider that some of our finishes are bespoke and not immediately available as samples. We can send out samples of all base metal tones, in gently aged or standard aging. Please get in touch to discuss any other finishes.

Our Standard Aged Yellow brass has movement and patina. It is our most popular finish.

This Bronze finish has been hand-distressed with marks, dents and lines to give it a textured and heavily-aged appearance . It is wonderful on table tops and bars. It can be sealed or left to gain more patina over time
textured aged copper
This copper is more heavily aged, with darker tones and a moodier feel
gently Aged Yellow Brass
This is our standard aged brass finish. It is hand aged and polished. We leave it unsealed, allowing it to gain more patina over time. We can seal if required.
verdigris bronze brass
This copper is finished with a beautiful verdigris patina. It leaves a greeny blue matt Verdigris. Less practical but more beautiful! The Verdigris can be ‘trapped’ to stop it changing more with time.
